Everything was prepared for an evening full of culinary delight in Serfaus.

At the Gourmet Evening on August 22nd, 2018 at the restaurant, Hiasl's Stube, all the guests, including every one of their senses, were treated to an experience at the highest level. Last year, the restaurant was completely renovated and redesigned so that it now offers an elegant combination of the traditional and the modern with great attention to the smallest details.

The hosts, Reinhard, Gabriela, Gerald and Claudia Kirschner had the opportunity to welcome many guests from near and far on this evening. Among them were Helmut Rinnhofer, Franz Brandhofer and Frank Vögele (Grissemann), Florian Plangger and Gloria Knabl (Fisser Goggala), Joe Bacher with  his wife, Fatima (Sport Bacher), Walter Böhm (Firma Handl), Klaus Gfall and Thomas File (Getränke Wille), Werner and Monika Tschann (Tschann Wohnambiente), Martin Kofler with his daughter (Fa. Kofler), Christoph Stimpfl (Mohrenbräu), Peter Neurauter with his wife (Neurauter frisch), Burkhard Winkler with his wife (Obst Winkler).

"We've had the chance to celebrate many highlights this year in the family business and in the family, but the best was the birth of our granddaughter Maria," explained the host, Reinhard Kirschner, visibly moved, in his toast. In addition, he thanked everyone who was responsible for making the evening possible, particularly his family.

But it wasn't just the ambiance that the guests enjoyed. From a culinary point of view, the evening was also an extraordinary experience. The award-winning chef, Christoph Zangerl from the Stanzer valley, and his team amazed the guests with a 6 course meal deserving of the highest praise that left no desire unfulfilled.  The meal was prepared with exclusively regionally produced products. The perfect accompaniment of wines were provided by exquisite selections from Domäne Wachau as well as from Weingut Hillinger. The musical contributions of "Stuanbriggler" rounded our the celebration.
